PROJECT: An extension and remodel of a small farmhouse. The client requested a timber frame and lots of glazing to make the most of the countryside views. The render continues on the south elevation whilst the brickwork matches in with the rest of the house. The interior remodelling will allow for an open plan kitchen, living, dining area and an additional master suite. The staircase will be repositioned to improve circulation throughout the building and the main entrance will be reorientated to be visible on approach to the house.
